Islam is in crisis and traveling for the Holly Days is quite dangerous. The Pilgrimages are dangerous and many have died from stampedes in getting there. There is also an issue with polio as there are still 17 countries and most are predominantly Muslim which still have not gotten rid of the disease. Meanwhile due to insurgents making roadside bombs and attempting suicide-murdering missions there is now stricter border crossing security by coalition, US and Iraqi Troops.

Without the ability to travel the holy days of Islam are in jeopardy. This is not right as so many peaceful Muslims are punished for a few bad apples amongst the nearly 1 Billion members of the Islamic Faith. Something needs to be done to insure religious freedom, so that the good folks are not punished for the International Terrorists and their murderous acts.

I therefore propose a solution to insure that good Muslims are rewarded, while the evil rogue elements who dishonor Allah and the Islamic Faith are slowed to a halt. I propose Holographic Projection to help all good Muslims visualize the good one, the great one, Allah in their Mosques.

Since the United States research and development teams along with devout Muslim scientists will be designing these projections and giving them to those who desire them, we can make sure that the projected holographic Allah says that suicide bombing is bad and that freedom, liberty and democracy are important for all. Those Mosques, which are good, will be able to use this technology and be giving the equipment for their members, while those who are against peace will not. This will prompt people to move over to Mosques, which preach the truth of the Islamic Faith and have the holographic imaging projection equipment and away from those who preach hatred, murder and killing of innocent life. Think on this.

In the past 14 years I’ve rubbed shoulders with more ministers than I can remember. I’ve talked with ministers of large churches, small churches, and every size in between. I’ve hung out with black ministers, Hispanic ministers, Episcopal ministers, Republican ministers, and yes, to my shame, even ministers who are Yankee fans. You name ‘em, I’ve probably picked up their lunch tab.

When our conversations move past square footage and per capita giving and other things that keep God up at night, we slowly let our guard down and begin to talk from the heart. Inevitably, that’s when a well guarded secret is shared. For most ministers, it’s a secret they’ve never shared with their colleagues, their churches, and sometimes even their spouses. I know I can count on one hand the people I’ve shared it with. Until now.

Regardless of how betrayed my fellow colleagues in the trenches might feel by me spilling the beans…I can’t hold it in any longer. I’m coming clean.

Here it is: sometimes we wish we could quit.

There, I said it. That felt pretty good. Ministers, say it with me, “Q-U-I-T. Adios. See ya. Hasta la vista. Outta here.”

I think you get my drift.

You want to know what surprises me? Every time I hear someone tell me they’re firing up a resume, I am always struck by how similar the reasons are for why they are taking their hand off the plow.

Difficult People

Many ministers say they’re tempted to throw in the towel or move because of people. Problem people to be exact. I remember the first church I served. After a few months I was approached by a man who felt called by God to be my accountability partner…without asking me. He offered to take me out to eat one day, so I accepted. Little was I prepared for what was about to happen. Setting down his sandwich he said, “Brian, there are a number of things you are doing wrong, but for the sake of time I’ve kept my list to 10.” I made the mistake of saying, “Start with number one.” Two and a half hours later I left with two things–30% less self-esteem and a really good case for why first cousins should never marry.

Like most ministers, I’ve regularly felt the sting of difficult people. Looking back on some of these situations I’ve come to one conclusion: in every congregation there are always 3 or 4 blessed souls that are there because no other organization in town will put up with them. Yes, I agree that it’s hard to overestimate the damage some ministers have done to churches. I own that. I know I’ve caused my share of pain. But it’s also healthy to acknowledge that many of God’s servants walk with a limp because no-one in their congregation had the guts to stand up to a known troublemaker and protect their leader. It’s at those times it becomes easy to question whether the price is too high, at least for me.

Those Highly Marketable Bible-College Degrees

A while ago I stumbled upon one of those well-known job search web sites. Supposedly it is the largest in the world…matching thousands of employers with employees everyday. I was curious so I plugged in my education, experience, and the name of the mildly prestigious divinity school from which I graduated. Most ministers will understand my elation at clicking the button and reading a report that pointed me to a long, distinguished career at my local Krispy Krme. When I’ve talked with colleagues, the feeling that is expressed is not necessarily one of resentment, but of being trapped. Even if they wanted to leave the ministry, what kind of job could they get? Could they make what they’re making now? Is it too late to start over? Try to remember the vigor and vision with which we entered Bible College. I literally would have become a Pastor if they told me I’d never be paid a single penny. I was sold out. But adding a few waist sizes has helped me recognize now what I didn’t then: 18 year old kids suffer from what author Warren Bennis calls “Delusional confidence.” We didn’t envision the day when we would have a mortgage payment, a car with 182,000 miles on it, and one too many smiles around the dinner table that need braces. Thank God for delusional confidence or we would have bolted to the local university mid-semester of our freshman year. Nevertheless, and I’m ashamed to admit it, but you’d be surprised how many pulpits would be empty if someone offered ministers a job similar or better in pay than their current assignment.

Boredom

Finally, many a minister gets wanderlust because they have simply gotten tired of the “same ole, same ole.” One minister confided in me that he thinks most of those in ministerial ranks change things in their churches simply out of boredom. If most ministers are telling the truth, they’ll admit there is more fact to that than they’d like to admit. Now, before you start rolling up your sleeves to throw stones, think about our typical week. Go to office. People. Problems. Study. Lunch time. More problems. More study. More people. Leave office. Not exactly the job for second-career NASCAR drivers. We ministers get into ruts. We get bored. We lose energy. We read the church openings. On Mondays you’ll find us on the mountaintop ready to tackle the world, but by Friday at 4:45 p.m. we’re cruising www.idon’twanttospendmydayoffworkingonanothersermon.com. Too often, to our shame, spending time with our Creator becomes another “to do” item on Microsoft Outlook. Ultimately, after a few years of hiking back and forth from the mountaintop to the valley and back, we ask ourselves, “Is this it? Am I wasting my life doing this? Would a move to another church cure this restlessness?” That’s not the kind of thing you want to hear out of the person leading the charge, but more often than not it’s the truth.

My Strategy For Pressing On

I’m not sure if this will help, but let me share a few things that have helped me stay in the game so far.

First, realize that no matter how hard it gets, it’s only going to get harder. That may not be what you wanted to hear, but it’s the truth. A mentor of mine once told a gathering of ministers, “Happiness is to be enjoyed like a sunny day.” Meditate on that phrase…it will serve you well in our vocation. Look up the number of times Paul used military phrases to describe our task. Re-read 2 Corinthians and envision how that letter was written with hands broken multiple times preaching the same gospel we preach. Where in scripture did Jesus promise us a balanced, contented, pseudo-Buddhist journey? Take comfort in the fact that Jesus expects you to be faithful to your calling but not derive all your joy and satisfaction from your calling.

Second, make a vow. Almost a decade ago I picked up a book by a Presbyterian Minister named Eugene Peterson called, Under The Predictable Plant: An Exploration In Vocational Holiness. The book literally saved my ministry. In it he described how in the sixth century monks were moving from monastery to monastery looking for deeper spiritual communities and greater challenges. Things got too tough or shallow…they moved on. The problem of restlessness became so widespread that St. Benedict added to the monastic vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience a fourth: the vow of stability. My hope is that every minister who reads this, regardless of their situation, will place themselves under St. Benedict’s tutelage.

That’s my story and I’m sticking with it.

contd from Part-3 Islamic Society This was ISLAM that Muhammad (pbuh) presented to the world. He (pbuh) established it as a system with his unprecedented practical deeds. The exposition of this “unprecedented practical deeds” is that the Messenger Muhammad (pbuh) used to present this Deen to the people on argumentative reasoning. He (pbuh) used to make the people understand its purpose and rationale. He (pbuh) used to answer the objections of the opponents on pursuits of knowledge, wisdom and intellect. He (pbuh) used to invite their reflective thinking. Those who accepted it willingly -from the core of their heart -he (pbuh) used to associate them in his group of people. This was the party that established the society of Deen. This was the modern society he (pbuh) developed. This society, within a few days, brought bright and brilliant results. And the results provided living proof of its truthfulness to the entire world. Likewise its establishment, its frontiers expanded and the world at large saw a system where ‘no one was subordinate to any one, nor was dependent; where every one used to live a life of freedom and dignity operating within the boundary walls of Laws of Allah’. This was the freedom that paid to develop the human potentialities enabling the man to march on the higher evolutionary stage of life. This is called the streamlining of the Hereafter. In the system of Deen, there was no concept of monarchy, capitalism, monasticism, or priesthood. On the contrary, the attributes of this society were paying respect to the man, keeping dignity and honour, and maintaining criterion of status in the society. In such a society (in the words of Hazrat Omar Farooque) ‘the mightiest was the weakest till he is made to pay the due to the oppressed’ and ‘the weakest among the weak was the mightiest of the might till he gets his deprived right’. This all leads us to conclude that Islam is the System of life in which: 1. All the deficiencies of the human are made good and he develops his potentialities to the optimum 2. The human remains safe and secure from misery and devastation in life 3. He goes on ascending to the higher planes of his evolutionary stages of life 4. He remains at peace and reconciled from within by living peaceably. 5. The human marches forward as a pioneer for establishing peace and reconciliation in the world. 6. In the journey of life he enjoy a walk in perfect harmony with other members of the society and never commits anything that excites or irritates others for disrupting the balance of the society But this all can only be possible when: * The human submits completely to the Laws of Allah; not by his head but also by his heart * The human carries out this all with optimal temperance and perfect balance, manifesting no laxing or taxing. In this way all his efforts will bear fruit and none of his actions will go waste * Balance and proportion will develop not only in the fiber of his own personality but also in the entire society This is the only style of life, of which it has been said unequivocally in the Quran in Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 85: Contrary to it, whosoever adopts a style other than this, will never produce such results; and he will be a loser in the long run. This style is the other name of complying with the Qura’n. Surah Taahaa, Verse 47 in the Quran says: And peace will be for him who follows Al Huda, the Revelation. What Happened to Islam Later on? This was Islam that Allah prescribed for the man as a system of life. What happened with it? What did this “nation, the so called collection of Muslims” do with this Islam? It ignored each and every article of this system and replaced it with man made religion, where monarchy, capitalism, monasticism, priesthood came in full-blown. Very briefly it can be said that every element, which Islam came to abolish, one by one paved way into it. Its result was that the worldly matters of the people came in the hands of those who were at the helm of affairs in the government machinery and Islam was transformed into religion. This religion became a collection of a few theoretical beliefs and a commotion of traditions. Then started discussions on Beliefs. These discussions included the following thematic issues (and the differences on these issues led way to blood shed): - Is Adam’s soul, in real sense, Allah’s soul or separate from Him? - Are Allah’s attributes old or new? - Is the Quran created or non-created? - Can God intend against His own intentions or not? - Are the humans the creators of their own deeds or not? - Can God tell a lie or not? - Will the people of the Heaven see God or not? - Is Allah eligible to decrease the blessings of the people of Heaven and the chastisement of the people of Hell? - Does belief increase or decrease? - Does reward and Sawaab rest on the wish of God or on the deeds of the man? - What is the length and breadth of Hauz-e-Kauser? - What is the volume of the ‘cups’ of the Heaven? - What is the length of the bunch of grapes of the Heaven? These were the discussions of the beliefs. Then started the academic issues. These included: - Fist-equal-length of Miswak creates haemorrhoids (piles) - Chewing Miswak makes man blind - How much water of the well is to be drained out if a piece of tail of the mouse falls into it? - Is the urine of the mouse sacred or not? - Should the swine that falls in salt mine and turns-to-be salt is eaten or not? - Is selling of slave girl’s milk fair or not? - How many bowls of water is used for taking Ghusal (necessary bath)? - To what extent should the hands reach in doing Masah of the head? - Does the prayer become unapproved if no difference is made in pronouncing Zaad and zuaie, zuaie and saad, seen, tuaie and tay in the recitation? These were the issues of beliefs, theoretical in nature and meaningless in scope that wasted the nation’s energies, time and money. And the nation is still entangled in these theoretical problems. Today the entangling in the theoretical issues is named as ’service to the Deen’ and a ‘great jihad in the service of Deen’. Just gloss over the situation that prevails today and compare ‘what Islam was when it was presented’ and ‘what it has become today’. But there is nothing to worry. We have the Quran with us today. We can work to establish Deen as a system of life. Then we can achieve the greatness we, as Muslims, achieved in the past.

I want to paint a picture for you. John Doe comes home from work
and confesses to his wife that he’s done something so terrible,
so damaging to their relationship, that he’s afraid she’ll never
forgive him. And then he tells her what it is.

Jane Doe (the wife) is angry. She storms out of the room
uttering all sorts of words I couldn’t possibly use in this
article. John is left sitting at the kitchen table…wondering
what his next move should be. It’s not that he’s afraid of
Jane’s wrath. It’s not that he wonders whether or not she’ll
forgive him. These are problems…but they’re not the biggest
problem. The biggest problem is that he doesn’t feel that he’s
worthy of her forgiveness. He’s feeling guilt.

Well maybe that isn’t a problem…but it could be, depending on
how he handles it. Suppose he’s afraid to approach her. He lives
through the worst kind of silence man knows…the silence of a
not-talking wife. It goes on for weeks, yet he won’t approach
her. Finally, they split up, and he blames it on his original
mistake. But he’ll never really know what split them apart,
because he never bothered to ask for her mercy. This isn’t guilt
anymore…it’s despair.

John’s biggest problem would be that he never let Jane decide
whether or not she would forgive him. He shut himself out
because he thought he wasn’t worthy…which points to an even
larger problem. The fact that he, at one time, thought he was
worthy. The key to keeping a marriage fresh is always trying to
better ourselves for our spouse. Never ceasing our heroic
attempts to win their hearts. Battling our inaptness in hopes
that they’ll at least give us credit for our effort.

When we see justification, the magic of heroism dies. When we
think we deserve the love of another, we breed
familiarity…which breeds contempt. And when we’re suddenly
cornered in the ugly gloom of guilt, where is the hope?

And if John decides to ask for Jane’s forgiveness, he might
stand a chance. And then he can begin to turn this guilt into a
force…one that never stops nagging him to do better. Not
because of the right or wrong, but because she deserves
better.

Then again maybe she won’t forgive him. Because maybe she’s
human and can’t accept betrayal. When it comes time to prove her
love, she might crack…and she’s human.

But there is one human who will always forgive. There is someone
who has already proven His love. He won’t crack. He hasn’t
cracked. And we won’t ever be worthy of His mercy, but it’s
there all the same. All we have to do is approach Him

Teachings by Bishop Fulton Sheen

Archbishop Sheen was one of the most influential Catholic
figures in the United States during the 20th century. His
effortlessly taught about Jesus Christ and the truths of the
Catholic Church through his powerful and courageous teachings.
The teachings of Fulton Sheen strengthened the faithful and
inspired a renewed sense of faith in many converts as they
embraced the Catholic faith. His incredible ability to
communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ as a public evangelist is
what keeps the Catholic world looking at him and his teachings,
even following twenty-five years of his death.

Fulton Sheen was a faithful servant of God and truly desired
that everyone would come to know Christ like he did. He
developed an Emmy Award winning TV program, “Life is Worth
Living” and has written more than 90 books, including
Peace of Soul which became sixth on the New York Times’
bestseller list. Bishop Sheen’s spiritual presence is also felt
in his audio recordings.

Fulton Sheen’s Prayerbook

The world around us is continually becoming more and more
dangerous. Bishop Fulton Sheen understood these perilous times
as wars were being fought and he put on the armor of God. He
knew that many of his listeners were now thousands of miles away
beyond the sound of his voice, fighting and dying in
battlefields. With the desire to warn and protect his followers
for temporal and spiritual warfare as well, he wrote a
pocket-sized prayerbook so that they could also put on the armor
of God as they faced new trials.

This prayerbook was written for perilous times, including our
days. In uncertain times like ours, we too are facing

Fulton J. Sheen had a warm, engaging personality that won the
hearts and minds of all those who came to know him. During the
1930’s and 40’s he formed his popular radio show to help men and
women deal with the fears that World War II presented the world.
Only a selection of Fulton Sheen’s deep and personal audio
recorded teachings have been preserved. These priceless
treasures survive today so you and your family can enjoy the
of the Holy Scripture deepen as never before. Welcome the
Servant of God, Fulton Sheen, into your home and allow his
teachings from catholic conferences to change your life.

Invite Bishop Fulton Sheen into your home today through his
books and audio recordings. Let the spirit of the Lord permeate
your home with the peace, comfort, and hope that Archbishop
Fulton Sheen will offer you.

Floral design day is celebrated on the 28th of February every month. We all love flowers and it is only appropriate that we celebrate a particular day to display our arrangements of flowers. Floral decoration and design is an ancient art. It can be traced back to ancient Egypt. Bouquets consisting of flowers like lotus and berries were offered to the dead and this is well-depicted in ancient Egyptian paintings found in the tomb of Apuy at Thebes. Lotus was considered a sacred flower related to the goddess of Isis. Wreaths, garlands and vases were found in the ancient civilisations of Greece and Rome.

We are not sure who originated this floral design day or the history behind such an occasion. We are however aware that floral designs and decoration existed from very ancient times. We should therefore celebrate this day with great delight. We should bring in the best flowers from the market and exercise our creativity during this day to show it to others. We can take pictures of the floral design that we have made. We can also employ professionals to decorate our house following a particular theme and throw a party so that everybody would be delighted.

According to the old Baltimore Catechism, formally used to teach generations of Catholic children their faith, prayer is defined as “the lifting up of our minds and hearts to God to adore Him, to thank Him for His benefits, to ask His forgiveness, and to beg of Him all the graces we need whether for soul or body.” In short, it is our conscious and heartfelt communication with our God. Simple, right? Of course.

Yet, past the basic textbook explanation, what is prayer - really, and why does it matter? In other words, who really needs prayer?

We do!

One of the greatest advantages of believing in a true living and personal God as opposed to some remote and aloof “cosmic entity” is prayer and that we can have a real and meaningful relationship with him. In fact, it’s that personal relationship with our God that truly defines our faith. The New Catechism of the Catholic Church, describes this relationship called prayer like this.

PRAYER IS A GIFT All we have to do to realize the great gift prayer really is is to look around honestly at the immensity and perfection of God’s creation. Modern astronomers and physicists remind us daily just how truly insignificant man is in the universe, yet our God allows us and even begs us to communicate with him.

How cool is that? Prayer is easily one of the greatest gifts we could ever imagine.

PRAYER IS A COVENANT According to the New Catechism, “Christian prayer is a covenant relationship between God and man in Christ.” Our prayers are a key element in the contract we as Christians personally enter into with God at our baptism.

Throughout the bible, God repeatedly teaches if we honor, trust and obey him, “he shall be our God and we shall be his people.” In the New Testament, our Lord tells us to pray unceasingly and to seek God constantly in all things. In other words, we as Christians are actually commanded to live our lives in an endless state of prayer as part of our contract with our God.

And finally… PRAYER IS A COMMUNION When we pray, we spend time with God, and it’s through this continual and intimate time spent in his presence, that we come to personally know him. Simple common sense tells us that to really know someone, we have to spend time with them and our relationship to God is no different.

We also spend time with those we love. And as with any person in our lives, we cannot truly claim to love Jesus and desire to be like him without desiring also to be with him. This special time spent with our Lord is prayer, and through its grace we fulfill his command to us to be one with him as he is one with the Father. And since this is the ultimate goal of our Christian walk, prayer then, is absolutely essential to our spiritual growth and journey.

Who needs prayer? WE ALL DO! It’s God special gift, allowing us sinful and cosmically insignificant creatures to communicate personally with the all-powerful Creator as a child converses with a loving parent. It’s part of our covenant with Him, a personal communion allowing us to be with Him and spend time in His presence until our death when, through His saving Grace we hope to be truly united with Him in heaven for all eternity.

So pray often and in everything you do, and remember, “with God, all things are possible.” Without him, nothing is.

The topic of this article is the concept of Karma, which is common to most Eastern Philosophies be it Hinduism or Buddhism.

It is said that in the second watch of the night when the Buddha attained enlightenment he gained a different kind of knowledge, which complemented his knowledge of rebirth - The Law of Karma.

Karma is mistaken in the West as a doctrine of Fate or Predestination. It is not so. The word Karma literally means action - and the Law of Karma is the infallible law of cause and effect, which governs the Universe.

The doctrine of Karma has many implications as to how we may lead our lives. In the first place it means that all our actions will lead to its natural consequence. We may not know what the consequence will be and in fact it may be delayed for many lengths of time but the consequence will follow inevitably. In Tibetan Buddhism the inevitable retribution, which however is not obvious, is compared to the shadow of a kite or an eagle as it searches for its prey. When the eagle is high in the sky its shadow is not to be seen. However when the eagle swoops to the ground to catch hold of its prey the menacing shadow appears. Similarly we are not aware of the consequences of our actions for most part but they will appear just as the shadow of the eagle suddenly appears.

The law of Karma is not confined to individuals - there is family karma, national karma, International Karma, the Karma of a city. All these are mixed with the Karma of the Individual, and thus it happens that people lives are influenced by events completely beyond their control. All these Karma’s are inter-related and can be understood in its full complexity only by an enlightened being.

The law of Karma gives us guidance as to how we may lead our lives. When misfortune strikes we know that it will not last forever but will pass in time. And we now know through the law of Karma that these are consequences, which have inevitably followed from our past actions. The attitude to have when difficulties befall us is this - That this, which is happening, is the coming to fruition of our past Karma. We do not see the suffering as a punishment- or do we blame ourselves and indulge in self-hatred. Tibetans say that suffering is the broom, which sweeps away our negative karma. We can even be grateful that one karma is coming to an end.

Eastern philosophy is full of stories of how bandits and murderers have overcome their bad karma and gone on to become - monks and even saints. Angulimala is an example. He had killed 999 people in his previous life as a bandit. But he was won over by the Buddha and went on to become a monk and a sage. Similarly in Tibetan Buddhism the story is told of Milarepa. He was a sorcerer who killed many people with his black magic for revenge or profit. Yet through his remorse and hardships and penances that he underwent he went on to become to become enlightened - a figure of inspiration to millions.

These are some brief remarks about Karma.

Please visit the Eastern Philosophy website and subscribe to the free at newsletter http://www.eastern-philosophy-and-meditation.com for many more such articles.

If you are like most people, you are often confronted with
fears that hold you back - consciously or subconsciously.
Although you weren’t born with them, you are under the
strong influence of the environment that implanted them.
You might even be tempted to think that worry and fear as
the primary base from which your actions stem.

Salespeople know of this powerful influence. People buy
truckloads of insurance in preparation for some disaster
that “might” happen. “It is better to be safe than sorry.”
Do you have an extra set of keys (or two) for your house or
car? Do you buy food, drinks or even pills that will help
you improve your complexion or lose unwanted weight?

Whether it is a fear of losing something good, or getting
something bad, fear is a driving force that is always
there. Why does someone behave rudely or arrogantly?
Because he or she is afraid of losing their “feeling of”
authoritative power, which would destroy or undermine his
or her position in society.

You already know where jealousy stems from - out of fear
for you, wanting or losing something you think you cannot
have or the fear that someone else will get what you feel
“belongs to you.” New situations in life force you to
confront a new set of fears. You may even comfort yourself
by saying it isn’t so bad. Have you ever made a doctor’s
appointment, a dentist appointment or a hairstyling
appointment only to arrive in the respective waiting area
with no pain or the best hair day you’ve had in a long
time? Now you want to go home.

Fear is a powerful motivator. Some of the more common fears
are:

1. Fear of the Unknown
2. Fear of Failure and Rejection
3. Fear of Loss (losing what you have)

4. Fear of Facing Reality
5. Fear of Disapproval

You have to deal with all of these fears if you want to
succeed. You cannot deny them or banish them to your
subconscious, as that will only add fuel to a fire that
will probably and suddenly burst out beyond your control.

Like fires, fears are easiest to squelch when they are
still small. Confront your fears and banish them forever.
Start with- “The Fear of the Unknown.” There isn’t a person
alive that isn’t apprehensive, nervous or even fearful of
entering new territory, wandering into the great unknown.
What will it hold? How will it change you? Will you be able
to handle the situation or complete the task? Will you know
what to do and have the ability to do it? Will you be
laughed at? Will it be worth it? One way of confronting the
unknown is to recognize that without action you will never
escape mediocrity.

The primary difference between people who fulfill their
dreams and those that don’t is action - the former move
from words to action, the latter never get beyond the
words. Ask yourself: What could I lose if I begin to act?
Answer frankly. Typical answers are time, pride and so on.
You should note that these answers are merely superficial.
What could I gain? An experience that will, without a
doubt, make you richer (maybe financially) and one that
will bring you closer, above all, to success.

You shouldn’t forget that it is self-confidence, overcoming
your fears and changing your habits or undesirable
attributes (like transforming yourself from timid to
outgoing) that bring you a step closer to attaining your
desires.
